When I was a child I wanted to be: An architect.

Ideal holiday destination and why: Isle of Man, located in the middle of the Irish Sea.

To watch the Isle of Man TT motorcycle races - I'm a motorcycle tragic.

Most important thing in lifeMy wife Dianne. And why? I thought that would be self-explanatory.

Biggest achievement: Marrying Dianne, 31 years ago.

Secret skill: I'll get back to that one.

When did you first come to the Northern Midlands and why: In 2006 from Brisbane, to enjoy the cooler climates.

The property at Perth found us.

Favourite part of the Northern Midlands: Perth.

Best thing about living in a small community: Living at Perth you have the rural atmosphere with the convenience of the city just 10 minutes away.

What do you see for the future of the Northern Midlands: With or without Lara Giddings?

Tasmania has a very bleak future under its current government.

We've got to get rid of them before anything can happen.

Favourite football team: Hawthorn.

Favourite sport: Motorcycle racing.
